Assignments may be unrelated in function and the work requires many different processes and methods and a great deal of analysis to identify the nature and extent of problems.
The work may require the employee to develop new methods and to deal with many variables, including some that are unclear or conflicting.

Knowledge at this level requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree with substantial related work experience, including up to two years of administrative or supervisory experience.
The ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds is required. Serves as the university’s subject-matter expert on requirements of and compliance with Title IX, VAWA, Campus Sa VE, and related federal and state laws. Investigates and ensures timely resolution of all reports of sex discrimination, sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking involving members of the University community (including the University’s Springfield, West Plains, and Mountain Grove campuses). Coordinates the University’s Title IX efforts, including the development, implementation, and monitoring of appropriate disclosures, policies, procedures and practices designed to comply with federal and state legislation, regulation, and case law requiring the prompt and equitable resolution of Title IX complaints. Monitors compliance with all procedures, requirements, and time frames outlined in the University’s G1.31 Title IX Policy on Sexual Assault, Stalking and Other Forms of Sexual Misconduct. Meets with complainants and respondents to provide information regarding the University complaint process, available resources, interim measures, and reporting and resolution options. Provides training sessions to University faculty, staff, and students on Springfield, West Plains, and Mountain Grove campuses regarding prevention of and response to sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. Develops and implements a comprehensive case management system that includes each reported complaint involving sex discrimination, sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. Travels regularly to the University’s West Plains and Mountain Grove campuses to investigate Title IX complaints, meets with complainants and respondents, and provides training and education programs to students, faculty, and staff. In consultation with University administration, leads the development and/or implementation of University climate surveys pertaining to sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, domestic violence, dating violence, and/or stalking. In the discharging the duties of the position, the Title IX Coordinator works closely with the Office of General Counsel, the Office of Human Resources, the Office of the Provost, the Office of Student Conduct, and other University administrators. degree or Master’s Degree in Student Affairs or a related field (e.g., counseling, criminology, social work, sociology) is strongly preferred.
MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE QUALIFICATIONS Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required. Experience: At least three years of investigatory experience is required.
